Senior Pastor - Samford Valley Community Church (SVCC)
SVCC(within the Uniting Church of Australia) is a contemporary, biblically based, evangelical style church with an emphasis on bible teaching, prayer, music and small groups. As of June 2007 we are in year 2 of our transition to being Purpose Driven. We have been in our present loc in the magnificent Samford Valley, a rural residential suburb of Brisbane, 25km from the city, for nearly 15 years. In Dec 2009, our current much loved leader will retire. He has been leading us as a teacher and great shepherd with a fun sense of humour for the past same period. His replacement will need to have the same sense of fun, love to be involved in music, a campaigner for the PD model and a sound biblical teacher. As a church that has stood aside from the Uniting Church due to the Assembly decisions, but still administered by the Uniting Church, this is a position for a UC Minister but pastors from other denominations may enquire. Please note the position will not be vacant until Dec 2009, and the normal processes of the Uniting church for placement of Ministers will still apply

Youth Pastor (Full Time) - Grace Christian Church
Is it your heart's desire to reach young people for Jesus? Are you committed to making disciples for Christ? Are you able to build strong healthy relationships with youth? Grace Christian Church is a contemporary and evangelical church in West Pennant Hills NSW. We are seeking a youth pastor with a desire to work with young people, share the love of Christ with them and grow our youth ministry. The Role of Youth Pastor includes: (1) To support and disciple existing youth in our youth ministry; (2) Motivate and enable volunteer leaders; (3) Build bridges with our youth's parents; (4) Work with local council, schools and Universities to reach youth. We are willing to consider a part-time position for the right candidate who may be still finishing theological studies. Youth Pastor - Southport Baptist Church
Southport Baptist Church is looking for a youth pastor to care for youth and oversee children’s ministry within the church. The church youth group consists of around 20 non-churched Junior High young people. The children’s ministry is currently staffed by volunteers and consists of a play group, Kids club and a Sunday School.
The church currently has two full time pastors employed. The incoming youth pastor will be expected to fit into the existing team, by meeting with the other pastors on a weekly basis, being accountable to the senior pastor and developing an effective youth ministry in a Gold Coast culture which will integrate into the church culture. Southport Baptist is moving into contemporary worship and is a purpose driven church.
